She uses real cases which make conceptual knowledge more tangible
This class made me think about justice in daily life, whether we act justly or not.
The theories and case studies helped me reflect on myself.
Adventures in Social & Political Philosophy (Semester 1, 2018/19)
Learning to analyze actions from different perspectives, using approaches of different philosophers, helped me to consider issues in different ways before deciding on what to do.
She tries to gather different ideas from the class, which helped me understand topics more deeply.
Best professor I have met in many ways... Please let her teach more subjects!
Ethical Thinking: Theory & Practice (Semester 1, 2018/19)
Relaxed environment and interesting examples given in class. It was a great course overall!
Exceptional ability in explaining complicated philosophical topics, which makes most if not all students understand each lesson.
Logic & Reasoning (Semester 2, 2018/19)
Best lecturer, period. Fun lesson, easy to follow, full of knowledge.
The lectures were much more interesting than I expected. Videos and class notes were very helpful. The enthusiasm of Dr. Camus showed for this subject.
Explaining the contents with extra historical facts were most helpful for my learning.
She gave a lot of feedback. Engages with students, and tries to remember their names.
This subject was hard but at the same time incredibly fun to learn.
Ways of Chinese Wisdom
(Sem 3, 2016/17)
The different forms of media she used in class facilitated learning and kept us engaged. We had a variety of activities and readings which helped us understand better.
I rarely encounter professors who are not only passionate and knowledgeable but also care that students learn and apply what they learn.
She would clarify anything students were unclear or confused about. I never thought I could enjoy a class so much and learn at the same time. I was motivated to do my own readings after class.
Open to opinions and encourages idea sharing in class.
